What is a Westbay DynaShowTM Presentation? An enhanced computer slideshow, using high quality digital photographs, with dynamic motion effects such as slide to slide transitions, pan and zoom. A short introductory example (180kB) will be loaded below:
A distant view of Ulverston, from Birkrigg Common, with the Coniston mountains as a backdrop. The DynaShow concept transforms a static set of images into an interesting sequence, forming a real story. An audio narration, perhaps with introductory music, completes an absorbing short movie. What would a DynaShow Presentation be used for?The uses are almost unlimited, but would include an introduction to a business or company, an overview of a new product, a tour around a product line. It could provide an enticing introduction to a hotel or holiday accommodation, or provide a guided tour to a tourist attraction. How would a DynaShow Presentation be delivered? For the highest quality results, with audio narration, the best delivery medium is by a CD. A web page can also be used to display a DynaShow, using a smaller picture area to shorten download times. Some ExamplesWestbay Technology has recently completed a 9½ minute presentation for Forward to Work Ltd, who have a unique scheme for helping the long-term unemployed back into work, and needed a memorable introductory tool. Follow this link for more details, and to request a copy of the Forward to Work CD. The DynaShow approach is perfect for spreading the word about your holiday cottage - simply leave a low-cost copy of the CD for each party of visitors to take away with them. It gives them something to show their friends and family, and crucially for you, lets other people really see what you have to offer. A free demonstration CD is available - more details. Further short examples of the DynaShow technology are provided. Some Technical StuffA great strength of Westbay's DynaShow technique is that the CD Presentation is completely self-contained, meaning that it will run in the CD drive without any installation process. It uses Macromedia's Shockwave Flash system, which is pre-installed on virtually every Windows-based computer. The CD will prompt to download the Flash 'plug-in' should it encounter a system without it. DynaShow is a trademark of Westbay Technology Ltd
